Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
In a recent development, the timing of secondary and higher secondary examinations in West Bengal has stirred controversy, prompting strong criticism from the state's opposition leader, Shubhendu Adhikari. Adhikari directed his ire at the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Council, the Higher Education Council, and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
He said that only 10 days are left for the examination and there is fog and cold in the entire state. Students will face a lot of trouble as both the secondary examinations will start from 9.45 am. For this he blamed the Chief Minister of the state instead of the Council.
